The ESRB defines T as "Content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language." These games are usually  much more complex than the other ratings. There are a lot more role playing games and shooter games rated Teen as well. Younger still might want to play

these games because they are familiar with the characters or other versions

of the game. Guitar Heroes, Super Smash Bros., and The Legend of Zelda

are some games that have different ratings on their other versions.
