EC is for Early Childhood. ESRB decsribes it simply as "Content is intended for young children." These are games suitable for toddlers to first or second grade. These are more educational and feature well known characters, like Sesame Street, Nick Jr., or Disney characters. Many games rated EC are apps or PC games, but console games like the ones below are fun for young children because they get to use the controller, or get to play with family and friends.
